Challenge
How to transform the current school educational framework?
Context of the challenge
The pandemic has accelerated ongoing changes within the educational landscape, such as the adoption of virtual environments, remote learning, and city-as-a-service concepts. These elements have had an immediate impact on school education. To shape the future effectively, it is crucial to establish a clear understanding of the current situation and its priorities. The EDU Vilnius team took on this task as part of the Bloomberg philanthropy project for cities.
Framework
creation
We established a research architecture to gain a comprehensive understanding of the main aspects of the challenge and explore potential solutions.
Quantitative
research
We collected quantitative information through structured questionnaires to measure various aspects of the situation.
Interactive
workshops
We conducted workshops with diverse target groups to evaluate different aspects of the situation. These interactive sessions provided participants with a platform to share their experiences, perspectives, and feedback.
Mobile
ethnography
We employed mobile ethnography techniques to gain a deeper understanding of participants' experiences and behaviors in real-world contexts. This involved collecting data through digital documentation.
Data
sensemaking
We analyzed different sets of data to provide clarity on the established themes of the challenge.
Insights
integration
We delivered structured information to ensure the success of the project in its later stages.
